Welcome back to the 2023-2024 school year! To the new families who are joining us, you are joining a great school community and we are thrilled your journey brought you to AEC! We hope everyone had a chance to relax and spend time with family and friends over the summer months. The staff at AEC is ready for a great school year and we are all looking forward to greeting students on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
AEC is pleased to offer free school supplies to our Grades Primary to 4 students this year. Students are only required to bring their own backpack, lunch box and indoor sneakers for Physical Education class along with their best smile!
We have a wonderful school community at AEC! We foster student achievement in academics and social emotional development using a ‘bucket-filling’ philosophy. Bucket Filling is more than just a catchphrase; it's a way of life at AEC. It's about creating a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive environment where every member of our school community feels valued and respected. The concept is based on the book, Have You Filled a Bucket Lately? In our school, each of us has an invisible bucket that can be filled with kindness, empathy, and positive interactions. When we are kind, considerate, and supportive of one another, we fill each other's buckets, fostering a sense of belonging and well-being. This simple act of filling each other's buckets not only makes our school a happier place but also helps us become better human beings.
